Hyacinth Macaw Store warrants that, at the time of delivery, the bird(s) are in good health, with no symptoms of disease or parasites. We guarantee that the bird(s) are free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and all congenital defects.
The buyer is encouraged to have the bird(s) examined by a licensed avian veterinarian of his/her choice within three business days from the time of delivery to verify the bird(s). If, during this period, the bird(s) are found to have a condition that affects their health or well-being as determined by the examining veterinarian, all laboratory tests and results shall be made available to Hyacinth Macaw Store Aviaries’ attending veterinarian who must concur with the diagnosis. Upon verification of this condition, and return of the bird(s), Hyacinth Macaw Store Aviary agrees, at its discretion, to either refund to the buyer the full purchase price or replace said bird(s) with bird(s) of the same species, sex (if known) and approximate age. This guarantee is void if leg band(s) have been removed.
All our birds are DISEASE TESTED negative for Polyomavirus (PVD), Avian Bornavirus (ABV), Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD), Psittacine Beak and Feather Disease (PBFD), and Chlamydia psittaci. We provide paperwork with every bird we sell.
We guarantee that there are no symptoms of disease or parasites at the time of sale and that our birds are completely healthy. This means that our birds are free of viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and congenital defects.
When a customer purchases a bird(s) from us, we provide our customers with a seven days health guarantee on the bird(s) that are weaned (eating on their own). Within the first seven days of the purchase, customers are encouraged to voluntarily take the bird(s) to an avian veterinarian.
Suppose an avian veterinarian states that the bird was Unfit for sale (not healthy). In that case, a certificate/paperwork must be presented to Hyacinth Macaw Store within 24 hours of the exam for exchange or full refund of the bird(s). Any bird(s) taken and hand-fed by customers is not qualified for any guarantee. There are no refund(s), exchange, or other free bird if a customer is unable to take care of an unweaned bird(s).
In the event, the buyer fails to have the bird(s) examined by an avian veterinarian seven days after pick-up or delivery. The buyer understands and agrees that the sale is final, and there is no guarantee/refund on the bird(s) anymore.
